Creating Communities at Maryland Hall

I am honored to be teaching with Creating Communities at Maryland Hall for the Performing Arts, where the arts are made accessible to all. I believe every child—frankly, every person—is a natural-born creator. Through art, I guide students to recognize the value of their personal artistic voice, uncover what they have to offer the world, and develop the skills to share it. At the heart of this work is teaching self-fidelity—a faith or trust in oneself followed by the courage to express it authentically—so that each young artist grows not only in creativity, but also in confidence and resilience, both in their inner world and out in the whole, wide world.
